Blackbeard for Men was founded in 2011 by Cap’n Jim, after he noticed an unwelcome wintry forest creeping into his once-dashing pirate goatee (in plain terms - he was turning grey).
After searching high and low for a solution that didn’t burn his face off, wasn’t messy, and didn’t look fake, he came up empty-handed. So, like any respectable privateer, he battened down the hatches and created his own.
The result was Blackbeard for Men - a fast, easy, and natural-looking alternative to traditional beard dyes. The S.S. Blackbeard for Men is docked in sunny Los Angeles, California, where the brand continues to be run as a small, family-owned business.
Blackbeard for Men was created for men who want an easier option than traditional dyes - without the unpleasant dyeing process or an overly-uniform “painted on” look.
